Hello there!

I am Keely McMillin, Founder and CEO of K=Mc2 Tutoring.  I am an experienced teacher and entrepreneur with a deep passion for tutoring.  My speciality is collegiate Biology and Chemistry courses, but I also work with younger students as well.  I lead interactive tutoring lessons catered to the individual student’s background, interests, strengths and weaknesses. It is my vision that learning should be dynamic, cross-curricula, and exciting. I started my company to culture a lifelong love of learning and spirit of curiosity in my students.  Through high expectations and compassion my students grow academically and personally, and it is my passion to help each of them succeed.  I am grateful for my students and what they teach me along the way.

How can I support you?

Learning should be dynamic, cross-curricula, and exciting.  I lead interactive tutoring lessons catered to the individual student’s background, interests, strengths and weaknesses. I mainly tutor in Math, Science and English but tutor in all subjects.  I also support children with learning differences like ADHD and help with Executive Function Support.  Through high expectations and compassion my students culture a lifelong love of learning and spirit of curiosity.

What Can You Expect?

Growth, both in content mastery and in character.

Whether that means catching up to grade level or exceeding past your peers, our lessons will focus on how your child grows week after week.  We will also focus on building character within the student to persevere and achieve their self-generated goals.   I build relationships quickly and support my students in all of their endeavors.  Every student is unique and I am not afraid to reach out and partner with a teacher to best position my student.  I actively encourage parental involvement and every session ends with a 5 minute debrief and expectations for the next session.

What I Expect?

I have high expectations of myself and the individuals and families working with me.  I expect my students to do their best but I have flair to help them build resilience, possibility, determination, and self-discovery. I don’t give up or quit on my students and expect the same in return.

I look forward to you to becoming one of my amazing scholars, as well! We will work together to elevate your academic success and build confidence in the classroom, an accomplishment with lasting effects.

Keely has become a trusted and valued person to our family.  Keely supports our son in many ways and even attended his science fair and served as a judge.  If I ever have a question on how to approach a teacher, she is my go-to person.  She gets back to me quickly and with good insight and advice.  Having this partnership with Keely has been invaluable for us as a family and it is wonderful to watch my son thrive and conquer the challenges that arise.

Keely has an incredible way with my daughter who looks forward to her sessions with her! She knows the content, presents it in a clear manner, and is encouraging and supportive. We are really appreciative of Keely.

Everyone told Kayla that it was impossible to pass two math classes her senior year, but God sent Keely to us.  Kayla crossed the stage and we give you huge credit.  May God bless you and don’t ever stop teaching.  You have a gift!  Kayla passed both Math classes with a high grade!
